
ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team won in its final match in Orlando defeating Cornell (Iowa) College 6-2 Wednesday evening at the Lakeland-Beerman Facility.
Juniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie combined for a 8-6 victory at first doubles while sophomore Dan Schmucker and freshman David Wilson grabbed a second win for the Greyhounds at third doubles, 8-4.
Tuorto continued to be victorious as he won at first singles, 7-6 (4), 6-0. Senior Lewis Cooper earned a 6-2, 6-3 a win at third singles while Schmucker also continued the win streak in singles going three sets for the victory at fourth singles, 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-5). Junior C.J. Widdifield won at sixth singles with scores of 6-0, 6-2 while Wylie had his second singles match end early after rain interruped the match fot the second time.
