Hounds Compete at ITA Southeast Tournament

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. --- Seniors Matt Tuorto and John Wylie of the Moravian College men's tennis team competed in the opening day Saturday of the 2015 ITA Southeast Tournament being hosted by the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

The tournament has been abbreviated due to the weather and mainly played indoors. Tuorto and Wylie fell in a tiebreaker in their opening round match in the Championship Doubles flight to Eli Phelps and Ishaan Prinz from Haverford College. The duo is schedule to play in their consolation match on Sunday.

In the championship singles flight, Tuorto dropped a close match to Thomas Johnson from Washington & Lee University in the opening round. He will also play a consolation match on Sunday while Wylie will start competition in the B2 Singles flight on Sunday as well.
