Hounds Ready to Start Spring Season in Orlando on Sunday, March 5

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team returns to the courts for the spring portion of its 2017 season on Sunday, March 5 when the squad takes on Aquinas (Mich.) College to start a week of matches in Orlando, Florida.

Head coach Alan Heverly has five returning players, two freshmen and a transfer student-athlete for the spring schedule. Senior Giovanni Lombardi leads the returning players and he was 2-1 at first singles during the fall while junior David Wilson had a 1-2 mark at second singles. Sophomore Peter Demyan had a 3-0 mark in the fall while sophomores Austin Grace and Isaac Schefer were both 1-2 in the fall.

Freshman Christopher Csencsits posted a 2-1 mark in the fall while making his debut with the Greyhounds. Coach Heverly has added freshman Carlos Ramirez and junior Mike Palmeri to the roster for the spring.
