BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team finished off its 2016-17 season Saturday in a Landmark Conference match versus The Catholic University of America at Hoffman Courts with the Greyhounds falling by a final score of 7-2.

The tandem of sophomores Peter Demyan and Isaac Schefer posted an 8-3 win at second doubles for Moravian, and Demyan also earned a straight sets win, 6-2, 6-1, at second singles.

Senior Giovanni Lombardi finished off his career on Saturday with 36 career doubles wins and 20 career singles victories.

"The men's team displayed character the entire season," stated Head Coach Alan Heverly. "I can't say enough about their unselfish attitude and more importantly behavior. Today they played an 'away' match with singles on Liberty High School's courts to help the women's team finish their season. I can't say more then to say that I am proud to coach them and I humbled by their unselfishness."
