Moravian Falls at DeSales in Hard-Fought Non-Conference Contest

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought, 6-3 non-conference match at DeSales University Thursday afternoon.

In doubles action, the Greyhounds first doubles tandem of senior Peter Demyan and freshman Daniel Salimnejad evened the contest at 1-1 with an 8-6 victory. However, the Blue and Grey were down 2-1 after doubles action.

The Hounds picked up two more wins in singles with Salimnejad posting a 6-2, 6-3 win at third singles and senior Isaac Schefer recording a 4-6, 7-5 (7-5), 1-0 (10-5) triumph at second singles.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Thursday, September 27 in a non-conference contest at Gwynedd Mercy University starting at 4:00 p.m.
