BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis squad shut out visiting Rutgers-Camden, 9-0, in non-conference action at Hoffman courts Saturday.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds started with a 1-0 lead with only two doubles matches competed due to Rutgers-Camden having four players to play. Senior Aidan Evans-Gartley and junior Steve Schneider recorded an 8-1 win at second doubles while the tandem of senior Kieran Pisani and freshman Matthew Labosky also posted an 8-1 victory at first doubles
- Moravian had enough points to win the match before the four singles contests began. Sophomore Jesse Russo made it 6-0 with a 6-1, 6-0 win at third singles in his first career singles match while freshman Murray Litman posted a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at second singles. Freshman Ryan Burke pushed the edge to 8-0 after he won 6-2, 6-0 at first singles while Evans-Gartley finished the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win at fourth singles
