CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis squad topped host DeSales University, 7-2, in non-conference action Sunday afternoon.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds swept the doubles action to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Junior Zachary Lebby and sophomore Matthew Labosky began the match with an 8-2 win at third doubles while junior Wyatt Marshall and sophomore Ryan Burke earned an 8-4 victory at second doubles. Junior Anthony Ronca and sophomore Shayaan Farhad finished the sweep with an 8-6 triumph at first doubles
- The Hounds picked up four wins in singles action to secure the win. The Bulldogs closed within a point at 3-2 by winning the first two singles matches to end before Farhad posted a 6-4, 6-4 victory at first singles. Moravian won the final three contests with Burke recording a 6-0, 6-1 win at fifth singles, Lebby winning 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles and freshman Gavin Labbadia posting a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at fourth singles
