Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose Moravian College because it felt like home as soon as I walked on the campus. Everyone was helpful and considerate and the nice campus was a bonus. Also, I wanted to play tennis in college and the Moravian tennis program is great.
What is your major and why?
Psychology and Education because I enjoy helping people out , solving conflicts, and teaching children different aspects of life.
What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
Education 160 because it required a field experience in which I was able to go into the classroom and interact and help younger students learn.
What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
I plan to continue going to school to get my next degree and eventually teach and open my own psychology practice.
What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
As of now, my most memorable moment as a Greyhound is spending time with my teammates and friends traveling to all of the tennis matches, and especially playing the matches in Florida. In addition to this, earning team MVP and Second Team All-Conference for doubles was a great accomplishment and memory.
How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
Being an athlete has helped me as a student because I would force myself to plan ahead and get my work done the first couple of days after the assignment was handed out. It helped me become very organized and plan to do my work ahead of time and before match days.
What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
The advice I have would be to have fun but to make sure you work hard, do the right thing, and focus on your school work also.
