Men's Track & Field Ranked 20th Nationally by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team moved up three spots 20th in the nation in this week's United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Team Computer Rankings.

The Greyhounds have 56.60 points in the poll that is based on where student-athletes rank on the Track & Field Results Reporting System.

Moravian has several student-athletes ranked high on the TFRRS list with senior Kristopher Joint first in the nation in the triple jump and tied for eighth in the long jump, senior Timothy Lorah first in the country in the javelin, sophomore Ryan Karnopp sixth in the pole vault and senior David Cariello 11th in the decathlon.

The purpose and methodology of the rankings is to create an index that showcases the teams that have the best potential of achieving the top spots in the national team race. Rankings points do not equate with NCAA Championships team points. A full description of the rankings can be found here.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse is first with 246.33 points and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference holds down the top four spots in the poll and has five teams in the top 25.
