CANTON, N.Y. --- Freshman Kyle Allison competed in the opening flight of the men's javelin throw Saturday morning on the final day of the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on Saturday.
Allison ended up finishing 17th of 20 competitors with a toss of 54.82 meters (179-10) on his third attempt. Allison had a foul on his first throw of the meet before recording a toss of 54.38 meters (178-5) on his second attempt. He was one of two throwers in the event from the Landmark Conference.
Moravian had a total of four competitors, two men and two women, at the NCAA meet over the last three days as all four student-athletes attended the national championships for the first time in their careers.
