Greyhounds Compete at Susquehanna Crusader Challenge

SELINSGROVE, Pa. ---  Junior Kahron Walker led the Moravian College men's indoor track & field team with a third place finish in the high jump at the non-scoring Susquehanna University Crusader Challenge as he posted an ECAC qualifying height of 1.93 meters (6-4).

Junior Kyle Hagerty finished seventh in the long jump with a leap of 6.36 meters (20-10.5) while freshman Scott Goodwin placed ninth in the pole vault at 3.65 meters (11-11.75).

On the track, junior Austin Gardener was ninth in the 60-meter dash in 7.26 seconds, and he took ninth in the 200-meter dash in 23.42 seconds while senior Tyler Dwyer took tenth in the 400-meter dash in 53.27 seconds. Senior Ryan Sickler was fifth in the 60-meter hurdle finals in 9.02 seconds while freshman John Spirk took seventh in the preliminaries of the race in 9.14 seconds.

The men's 4x200-meter relay team of Gardener, junior Matt Barnett, sophomore Eric Morton and freshman Chris Antoine finished sixth in 1:35.89.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, February 13 when the squad competes at the Monmouth University Invitational.
