WAVERLY, Iowa --- Moravian College senior Gavin Bailey competed on the opening day of the 2016 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championships being hosted by Wartburg (Iowa) College Thursday.
Bailey finished 17th of 20 competitors in the long jump with a mark of 6.41 meters (21-0.5) on his third jump of the preliminaries. Bailey's other two jumps were 6.30 meters and 6.39 meters as he closed out his collegiate career.
