Goodwin Captures Pole Vault at Seamus McElligott Invitational

HAVERFORD, Pa. --- Sophomore Scott Goodwin claimed first place the pole vault at the Seamus McElligott Invitational hosted by Haverford College Saturday to lead the Moravian College men's indoor track & field team with an ECAC qualifying height of 4.40 meters (14-5.25) to lead the men's squad. Junior Preston Weidner was ninth in the event at a clearance of 3.20 meters (10-6).

On the track, junior Andrew Mitchell took fifth in the 800-meter run in 1:58.32, and he was followed by freshman Greg Jaindl in seventh place at 1:59.97 and sophomore Devon Harris in tenth in a time of 2:00.92.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, February 18 in the Kutztown University 6-Team Qualifier.
