Greyhound Men Set Two School & Landmark Conference Records at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's track & field squad set a pair of school and Landmark Conference records in the prestigious Penn Relays at historic Franklin Field Friday.

The day began with the quartet of seniors Austin Gardener and Cory Taggert, junior Eric Morton and freshman Billy DiLolle breaking the school and Landmark record in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:30.27.

Moravian ran the group of juniors Andrew Mitchell and Mike Kopach, sophomore Devon Harris and freshman Justin Beasley-Turner in the Pop Haddleton MAC 4x400 relay, and the recorded a time of 3:32.34.

Gardener, DiLolle and Taggert combined with freshman Greg Jaindl to finish the day with a school and conference record of 3:32.63 in the Spring Medley Championship of America, and the quartet was third in their heat.

Moravian is slated to compete at the Lehigh University Games on Saturday, April 29 in the Hounds' final meet before hosting the 2017 Landmark Conference Championships.
