Greyhound Men Start 2017-18 Indoor Season on December 1 at Lehigh University Opener

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's indoor track & field team is slated to begin its 2017-18 season on Friday, December 1 at the Lehigh University at Rauch Fieldhouse as the meet starts at 5:30 p.m. with the field events.

Seventh-year Head Coach Jesse Baumann aims to have the Greyhounds in position to win their eighth straight Landmark Conference Championship when the 2018 meet is held in February at Susquehanna University. The Blue and Grey have won nine of the ten Landmark Conference titles and were picked to repeat in the conference preseason poll.

Moravian has 30 returning student-athletes including six All-Conference performers. Junior hurdler John Spirk aims to capture the 60-meter hurdles for the third time this winter while junior Scott Goodwin hopes to repeat his title in the pole vault. The Hounds also return seniors Mike Kopach and Andrew Mitchell, junior Chris Antoine and sophomore Roland Cash, who earn earned All-Conference honored while running in relay races last February.
