Greyhounds Open Indoor Season at Lehigh University Opener

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's track & field squad began its 2017-18 indoor season Friday night at the Lehigh University Opener in Rauch Fieldhouse.

Junior Scott Goodwin led the Hounds with a fourth place in the pole vault, clearing a height of 4.25 meters (13-11.25) while freshman Michael Elo placed ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.84 meters (42-1.5) on his first attempt in the finals.

In the men's sprints, freshman Zion Howard was seventh overall and first in his heat of the 200-meter dash in 23.21 seconds while senior Eric Morton placed tenth in the 60-meter dash in 7.15 seconds.

Moravian is not scheduled to return to action until Saturday, January 20, 2018 when the Greyhounds head to the Collegeville Classic hosted by Ursinus College.
