Zion Howard Wins Two Events & Makes History at Susquehanna Challenge

Susquehanna, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's indoor track competed at the Susquehanna University Challenge on Saturday. 

Starting off the meet for the Greyhounds was senior Eric Morton, junior John Spirk, freshmen Sean McFarland and Zion Howard in the 4x200-meter relay where the Hounds placed second with a time of 1:34.33. In the men's 60-meter hurdles, Spirk came in fourth with a time of 8.50 seconds. In the 200-meter dash, Howard crossed the finish line in first in a time of 22.90 seconds and Howard also finished in first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.00 seconds, making Howard's time in the 60-meter dash the fifth fastest in Moravian history.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action until Friday, February 9 when they will travel to New York City for the New York University Invitational at NYC Armory at 2:00 p.m.
