PRINCETON, N.J. --- The Moravian College men's women's track & field team sent a small group of competitors to the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton University Friday afternoon.

Freshman Michael Elo had the top finish for the men's squad with a third place in the triple jump with a distance of 12.90 meters (42-4) on his first attempt, and he also finished 16th in the long jump with a leap of 6.07 meters (19-11). Junior Brian Stock was 12th in the long jump at 6.39 meters (20-11.75).

On the track, sophomore Greg Jaindl finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal best time of 9:31.20, the fourth fastest time in school history. Senior Andrew Mitchell also had a personal best in the seeded 800-meter run, finishing 22nd in 1:55.94, while junior Devon Harris was 32nd in the seeded 1,500-meter run in 4:06.31.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 7 at the Muhlenberg College Invitational beginning at 10:00 a.m.
