Moravian Runs to 3rd in College Men's 4x400 Pop Haddleton MAC at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team had one relay team compete in the Penn Relays on Friday at historic Franklin Field.

The 4x400-meter relay squad of senior Mike Kopach, junior John Spirk and freshman Zion Howard and Sean McFarland finished third in the College Men's 4x400 Pop Haddleton MAC race with a time of 3:22.76. Howard ran a lap of 50.82 seconds while Spirk finished the second leg in 50.36. Kopach raced the third leg in 52.04 seconds while McFarland posted a time of 49.55 seconds in the anchor leg.

Moravian will have one javelin thrower compete at the Penn Relays on Saturday, April 28 while the rest of the team will participate in the Lehigh University Games.
