READING, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's track & field squad captured first place in one event at the Alvernia University Plex Invitational Saturday.
Event Winners
- Sophomore Nathan Hajel won the 5,000-meter run with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 15:26.41
Top 10 Results
- Junior Josh Mangini placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run in a personal best time of 8:54.51 while junior Casey Frank came in eighth in a PR time of 8:57.22
- Junior Dan McNicholas took ninth in the 35-pound weight throw with a PR toss of 14.19 meters (46-6.75)
- Sophomore Geoffrey Kleinberg was tenth in the 800-meter run in an indoor PR time of 2:03.61
- The Greyhounds 4x400-meter "A" relay of Kleinberg, juniors Brendon Ward and Paul Petre and sophomore Wyatt Poniktera placed third in a time of 3:41.36 while the "B" relay of sophomores Owen Sabastro and Jason Gartner and freshman Kevin Hess and Tom Post finished fifth at 3:44.51
