Moravian Men Capture Two Event Titles at Stockton Osprey Open

GALLOWAY, N.J. --- The Moravian University men's outdoor track & field squad captured two event titles on day two of the Stockton University Osprey Open Saturday.

Moravian Event Winners

Moravian Top 10 Finishers

  • McKay was the runner-up in the 100-meter dash in 11.44 seconds while sophomore Jacob Fenstermaker was sixth in 11.68 seconds
  • Sophomore Bryan Kerchner took second in the 800-meter run in 2:00.10 while senior Casey Frank was third in 2:01.15, freshman Logan Betyeman placed fifth in 2:02.49, senior Brendon Ward finished seventh in 2:04.69 and freshman Jackson Royds was ninth in 2:05.50
  • Sophomore Liam Maguire was third in the 110-meter high hurdles in 17.37 seconds while freshman Mael Tshiyonga was a spot back in 17.51 seconds
  • Gartner finished third in the 400-meter hurdles in 59.36 seconds while Maguire was seventh at 1:01.01
  • Freshman Jordan Gagner took third in the 400-meter dash in 51.97 seconds while freshman Damian De Los Santos Suriel was eighth in 53.58 seconds
  • Junior Jake Farrell placed third in the 1,500-meter run in 4:11.78 while junior Nathan Hajel was fourth in 4:15.98 and freshman Nate Moore took sixth in 4:20.45
  • Graduate student Christian Jancsarics placed sixth in the 5,000-meter run in 16:14.88
  • The Hounds "A" 4x400-meter relay team of Gartner, De Los Santos Suriel, Tshiyonga and senior Matt Shea finished fourth in 3:34.25 while the "B" relay squad of Betyeman, Frank, Kerchner and junior Geoffrey Kleinberg  was fifth in 3:35.71
  • Graduate student Tim King placed third in the discus with a toss of 41.47 meters (136-1) while freshman Anthony Morillo finished fourth at 39.51 meters (129-8) and senior Jeremy Goll took seventh at 37.06 meters (121-7)
  • Morillo was fourth in the shot put at 13.42 meters (44-0.25) while King placed fourth at 13.27 meters (43-6.5) and Goll took sixth with a toss of 12.88 meters (42.3)
