ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's outdoor track & field team won three events at the Muhlenberg College Invitational Saturday.
Moravian Event Winners
- Graduate student Tim King won the discus with a personal best and an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying distance of 46.04 meters (151-0), which is third in program history
- Junior Trevor Gray captured first in the 100-meter dash in 11.07 seconds
- Freshman Javon McKay took first in the 200-meter dash in 22.44 seconds
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- King was second in the hammer throw on Friday with a toss of 48.28 meters (158-5)
- Sophomore Jerome Luckey was the runner-up in the high jump at an AARTFC qualifying height of 2.00 meters (6-6.75)
- Moravian's 4x100-meter relay squad of Gray, McKay, junior Jason Gartner and sophomore Jacob Fenstermaker placed second in an AARTFC qualifying time of 42.94 seconds
- Fenstermaker was also second in the 100-meter dash in 11.22 seconds
- Freshman Mael Tshiyonga was the runner-up in the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.61 seconds while sophomore Liam Maguire finished fourth in 17.04 seconds
- Freshman Anthony Morillo took third in the discus with an AARTFC qualifying distance of 44.17 meters (144-11) while senior Jeremy Goll was seventh at 38.34 meters (125-9) and senior Derek Mason placed ninth at 36.86 meters (120-11)
- Gartner was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 59.42 seconds while Maguire placed sixth in 1:00.75 and Tshiyonga was seventh in 1:01.27
- Graduate student Christian Jancsarics finished fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:02.09 while freshman Gavin Hefferan was seventh at 10:44.99, freshman Michael Schippnick placed eighth in a time of 10:50.38, freshman Adam Plummer was ninth at 10:57.42 and freshman Xander DiMatteo took tenth in 11:09.60
- Junior Owen Nahf placed sixth in the 1,500-meter run in 4:05.33 while junior Jake Farrell was tenth at 4:14.32
- Freshman Nate Moore was sixth in the 5,000-meter run in 15:38.31
- Senior Matt Shea finished eighth in the 400-meter dash in 55.29 seconds
- Freshman Jordan Gagner was eighth in the 800-meter run in 2:01.67
