Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose Moravian because I loved the feeling I got from it. I felt at home on the campus and everyone I talked to was friendly. I also really wanted to continue running in college and I felt that I had the best opportunity to do that here.

What is your major and why?
My major is computer science because it was always something that I was interested in but I never tried it until I came here. So far I like it because it makes me a better problem solver.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
Honestly I think the painting course I took was one of the most fun. It was challenging but really satisfying to look at a finished painting and knowing that I created it. I was terrible at mixing the colors but it was refreshing to get out of the classroom and work on something with my own hands.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
I'm not sure yet, I haven't quite figured it out.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
Being named male track rookie of the year last spring. I wasn't expecting it at all and the way my teammates all cheered for me is something I'll never forget.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student?
It's forced me to master time management. Knowing that I have practice every day helps me to get my work done and plan my days out. I really need the structure that it provides.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
Tempo Tuesdays. Very physically trying but at the same time it's one of my favorite days.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.
Adjusting to the higher hurdle height took many months of frustration and I still don't have it nailed down completely.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
Community service is important because it's important to give back to the community. It's fun to participate and the feeling of knowing that you're making a difference is something that sticks with you.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
Always try to be better than who you were yesterday and never forget why you started in the first place. Strive to improve, enjoy the process, and do all the little things you need to do to succeed - that goes for sports, school, and life.
