Bob Luciano is the Javelin Coach at Moravian College.

During his 10 years at Moravian, Coach Luciano has coached nine different National Qualifiers. 

In 2012, Luciano earned USTFCCCA Mideast Region Assistant Male Coach of the Year for coaching three javelin throwers ranked in the top 20 in the nation.

He coached Gary Zack, who won the 2011 National Championship, and Mary Kate Duncan, who was the 2017 National Champion.

2017 was a spectacular year for the Moravian javelin throwers as they had the best javelin squad in Division III. Three javelin throwers were ranked in the top 10 in the country and another thrower was ranked 26th.

2018 will be Coach Luciano's last season coaching at Moravian. It promises to be an exciting season with the ninth ranked male thrower in the country returning, the 26th ranked female thrower in the country returning, and the current Women's National Champion returning.
