Men's Cross Country Takes Fourth at Lehigh Invitational to Start 2016

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country squad began the 2016 season Friday evening by competing at the Lehigh University Invitational at the Goodman Campus.

The Greyhounds placed fourth in the meet as freshman Gregory Jaindl led the squad with a 22nd place finish among the 70 runners in a time of 20:10.02 on the 6,000-meter course. Freshman Connor Irwin was 26th in 20:17.7 while sophomore Devon Harris was a spot back by a tenth of a second. Freshman Gavin Kemery was 28th in 20:19.7 while freshman Justin Beasley-Turner rounded out Moravian's top five with a 33rd place finish in 20:22.7.

The Greyhounds have a week off before hosting the Moravian College Invitational at Bicentennial Park in Northampton on Friday, September 16 at 5:30 p.m.
