BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team is set to begin its 2017 season on Friday, September 1 at the Lehigh University Invitational with the race starting at 5:30 p.m. on the Goodman Campus in South Bethlehem.
Seventh-year Director of Men's & Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann has a group of 11 returning runners this fall that has the program excited and selected third in the 2017 Landmark Conference Preseason Poll. The Greyhounds do return a pair of Landmark All-Conference runners this season in sophomores Gavin Kemery and Gregory Jaindl. Kemery earned a spot on the First Team a year ago in the championship meet hosted by the Greyhounds at Bicentennial Park with a sixth place finish while Jaindl was on the Second Team after placing 11th in the 8,000-meter race.
