Hounds Finish Third in Delaware Valley Open

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team finished third of 13 teams at the Delaware Valley University Aggies Open Saturday morning .

Sophomore Gavin Kemery paced the Blue and Grey finishing fourth overall out of 128 competitors on the 8,000-meter course with the time of 29:27.9, and the only Hound in the top ten. Sophomore Gregory Jaindl finished in 30:29.0 for a 12th place showing while junior Devon Harris placed 18th with a time of 30:45.5. Sophomore Justin Beasley-Turner ran in 31:13.6 to finish 25th overall while freshmen Peter Gingrich  and Billy Milburn cracked the top 40 with Gingrich finishing in 31:38.3 and Milburn completed the race 32:03.2.

Junior Aaron Hofmann completed the course in 34:02.9, and following close behind was sophomore Devon Fogel with a mark of 34:08.7. Rounding out the Greyhounds lineup was sophomore Alex Tursi with a time of 34:59.4.

The Greyhoudns are scheduled to return to action on Friday, September 29 when the team runs in the Annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on the Goodman Campus in South Bethlehem.
