Greyhound Men Place 20th at Inter-Regional Rumble Hosted by Rowan

MULLICA HILL, N.J. --- The Moravian College men's cross country squad ran in the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Rowan University Saturday as the Greyhounds had their final tune-up before the 2017 Landmark Conference Championship meet.

The Hounds were 20th of 28 with a team score of 512 while Haverford College won the meet. Sophomore Gregory Jaindl turned in the Greyhounds' top time with a 25:46.6 on the 8,000-meter course to finish in a 44th place out of 250 runners. Junior Devon Harris was 59th overall in 26:01.5 while sophomore Justin Beasley-Turner ran a time of 27:34.7. Freshman Peter Gingrich finished in 28:07.9 while junior Peter Milewski had a time of 28:22.1 to finish out the Moravian top five. Also running in the Championship race for the Blue and Grey were junior Benjamin Smith, who had a time of 28:27.6, freshman Billy Milburn, who finished in 28:45.0, sophomore Alex Tursi with a time of 29:21.7, sophomore Devon Fogel at 29:23.7 and junior Aaron Hofmann, who finished in 29:44.6.

Freshman Jarred Kyra ran a time of 29:17.8 in the open race to end the meet.

Moravian will return to action on Saturday, October 28 in the 2017 Landmark Conference Championships being hosted by Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
