Jaindl Earns All-Region Honors at NCAA Division III Mideast Regional

NEWVILLE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country squad placed 15th of 51 teams to finish off the 2017 season Saturday at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School.

The Greyhounds had a team score of 493 while Haverford College took the top team spot with 25 points.

Sophomore Gregory Jaindl paced Moravian and earned All-Region honors with a 35th place finish among the 365 runners with a time of 25:55.3 on the 8,000-meter course. Junior Devon Harris finished in 82nd in a time of 26:57.3 while sophomore Gavin Kemery placed 91st in 27:04.8. Rounding out Moravian's top five were sophomore Justin Beasley-Turner with a time of 27:40.1 and senior Andrew Mitchell in 27:56.6. The Greyhounds also had freshmen Franklin Musnuff and Peter Gingrich turn in times of 29:00.7 for Musnuff and 29:08.4 for Gingrich in the meet.
