Jaindl Garners All-Mideast Region Honors Again as Men Place 15th at NCAA DIII Regional Meet

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's cross country team completed the 2018 season by running in the 2018 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional hosted by DeSales University Saturday.

The Hounds took 15th of 52 squads with a team score of 466 while junior Gregory Jaindl earned All-Mideast Region accolades for the second straight fall for a top 35 finish as he took 26th of 357 runners with a time of 26:40 on the muddy and wet 8,000-meter course. Junior Gavin Kemery was the second Greyhound to cross the finish line with a time of 27:57 to place 79th, and junior Justin Beasley-Turner was two spots back in 28:01.

Senior Devon Harris took 100th in 28:12 while senior Benjamin Smith finished in 180th with a time of 29:26. Rounding out the Moravian runners in the race were freshman Dominic DeRafelo, who was 188th in 29:29, and senior Aaron Hofmann, who finished 205th with a time of 29:52.
