Dalickas Leads Nation in On-Base Percentage; 5 Hounds Ranked in NCAA Stats

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Moravian College senior first baseman Jenn Dalickas leads all of NCAA Division III softball players in on-base percentage through games of April 19, and she is one of five Greyhounds to be ranked in the latest NCAA statistics.

Dalickas has an on-base percentage of .657, having reached base in 71 of her 108 plate appearances this spring with 37 hits, a school record 33 walks and one hit by pitch. Dalickas also ranks sixth in walks at 1.19 per game, 15th with a .507 batting average and 26th with an .849 slugging percentage.

Freshman pitcher Josie Novak is 39th in hits allowed per seven innings at 4.93, and she is also 41st in strikeouts with 105 while freshman pitcher Amanda Carisone is tied for 32nd in shutouts with four.  Senior infielder Lizzie Mack is tied for seventh with four sacrifice flies while junior outfielder Mary Schlosbon is 11th in sacrifice hits at 0.44 per game.

As a team, the Greyhounds are tied for seventh in earned run average at 1.40, 15th in win-loss percentage at .857 and tied for 30th in on-base percentage at .422.

Moravian, which is 24-4 on the season, is slated to return to action on Thursday, April 23 in a non-conference doubleheader versus Stevens Institute of Technology starting at 3:00 p.m. at Blue & Grey Field in Bethlehem.
