Moravian Confers Degrees to Softball Seniors in Special Team Meeting

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- With the Moravian College softball team competing in the 2018 Division III Ewing, New Jersey Regional during the school's commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 12, Moravian conferred the degrees to its six senior players during a team meeting on Tuesday, May 15 to discuss the NCAA Division III Super Regionals.

Moravian College President Bryon L. Grigsby '90 and Provost and Dean of the Faculty Cynthia Kosso presented the degrees to seniors Josie Novak, Janae Matos, Jackie Marshall, Amanda Carisone, Jean Markovic and Megan Taylor.

The team won the regional at The College of New Jersey and will continue its postseason trip at the NCAA Division III Super Regionals at Rowan (N.J.) University on Friday and Saturday, May 18-19.
