Greyhounds Ranked Sixth in Latest NFCA DIII Top 25 Poll Heading into NCAA Tournament

LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- The Moravian College softball slipped two spots to sixth in the 11th and final regular season 2021 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll released Wednesday.

The Greyhounds, who were No. 19 in the 2021 preseason poll announced in early February, No. 17 in the first regular season poll and then No. 19, No. 16, No. 15 for two weeks, No. 10 for two weeks, No. 9 for a week before jumping to fourth two weeks ago, are currently 30-1 on the season after winning the best-of-three series versus The University of Scranton last weekend at Blue & Grey Field to win the 2021 Landmark Conference Championship.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Friday, May 21 when the third seeded Hounds take on fourth seed Farmingdale State (N.Y.) College at 2:00 p.m. in the first day of an NCAA Division III Regional hosted by Virginia Wesleyan University in Virginia Beach.
