Three Greyhounds Ranked in Latest NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three student-athletes from the Moravian College women's basketball team are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Tuesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright is tied for sixth in the country with eight double-doubles, 11th with 12.5 rebounds per game, tied for 44th with 2.15 blocked shots per game and tied for 90th with 16.7 points per game. Wright is second on the team with 26 steals while helping the Greyhounds get off to their best start in school-history at 12-1 and 3-0 in the Landmark Conference.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke is tied for 34th in the nation with 4.9 assists per game. On the season, O'Rourke is second on the team with 12.5 points per contest and third with 6.2 rebounds per game. She leads the Moravian squad with 38 steals and 64 assists.

Junior center Laura Jordan ranks 52nd in Division III with 2.08 blocked shots per game. This winter, Jordan is averaging 8.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game to go with her team-best .791 (34-for-43) free throw percentage.

As a team, Moravian ranks sixth in blocked shots per game (6.6), tied for 15th in winning percentage (92.3), 33rd in points per game (72.0), 37th in field goal percentage defense (32.0), 40th in rebound margin (8.2), tied for 47th in three-point field goal defense (23.7) and 49th in scoring margin (14.2).

The Greyhounds return to the court on Wednesday, January 9th as they host Landmark rival Drew University. The contest is set for 7 p.m. inside Johnston Hall.
