The Lions jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead before Capuano would get Moravian on the scoreboard. Moravian would cut the deficit to seven points, 23-16, after 10 minutes of action.

The Blue and Grey scored five straight to cut the deficit to 36-30 on a Calabrese jumper with four minutes before halftime. Moravian continued to pull closer, getting within a point twice, the second time after a jumper by Calabrese with 20 ticks before the break. The Lions added a bucket to head to the locker room leading the Hounds, 44-41.

The third quarter would start with the Greyhounds keeping the score close as Moravian trailed by just two points, 53-51, on a lay-up by McPherson with 5:17 left in the period. However, Albright began to pull away and led 67-55 after 30 minutes of action.

The Lions scored first in the final period for a 14-point edge before Moravian ran off eight straight points to pull within six, 69-63, on a free throw from Stewart with 6:37 remaining. However, the Hounds would score just six points the rest of the game while Albright netted 10 points to earn the victory.
