AUSTIN, Texas --- Moravian College senior forward Camille McPherson has been named to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-America NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Third Team selected by the College Sports Information Director of America.

To be eligible for Academic All-America® accolades, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.30 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior or senior and be a starter or significant reserve. Beginning in 2011-12, the program is made up of four levels – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division (NAIA, Canadian colleges and junior colleges). "Camille's achievement of Academic All American is a direct reflection on her work ethic in the classroom," stated Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. "Camille approaches her academics like she prepares for a game. She is focused, relentless and determined to be the best. This is a huge accomplishment for Camille and well deserved. Camille is a tremendous role model for her teammates and will certainly be successful in whatever the future holds for her."
