TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore guard Maddie Capuano has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

"Maddie has started off the season strong and especially had a terrific game against DeSales," stated Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. "She continues to get better every day and will hopefully stay consistent all season. We are fortunate to have a player like Maddie on our team, as her drive to win and be successful is second to none."

Moravian, which is 3-1 on the season, is slated to return to action on Tuesday, November 28 in a non-conference game at FDU-Florham beginning at 7:00 p.m.
