Moravian Women Tipoff 2024-25 Season on November 11 in Johnston Hall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's basketball team is slated to begin its 2024-25 campaign on Monday, November 11 with a non-conference game versus Immaculata University tipping off at 6:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.

The Greyhounds, led by 38th year Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk, have four other contests in the opening month of the season including a home game with Albright College on Friday, November 15. The Hounds start the Landmark Conference season on Wednesday, November 20 with a short trip to Drew University before hosting Susquehanna University on Saturday, November 23. The Blue & Grey head down to Center Valley on Monday, November 25 to face DeSales University in non-conference action.

The Blue and Grey start December with a pair of Landmark Conference games, welcoming Goucher College to Johnston Hall on Wednesday, December 4 before heading to The Catholic University of America on Saturday, December 7. Moravian will travel to Lebanon Valley College on Saturday, December 14 after finals, and the squad then hosts the annual Steel Club Classic on Sunday-Monday, December 29-30 with the Hounds facing St. Elizabeth (N.J.) University on the opening day and then either William Paterson (N.J.) University or Christopher Newport (Va.) University.

When the calendar flips to 2025, the Greyhounds play their final non-conference game of the season with rival Muhlenberg College coming to Johnston Hall on Saturday, January 4. Moravian returns to conference play on Wednesday, January 8 at Juniata College before taking on Lycoming College at the historic Palestra in Philadelphia on Sunday, January 12 with a 5:00 p.m. tipoff as part of the Landmark Conference's third annual Day at the Palestra.

The Hounds have five more games slated for the month of January with four of them on the road with trips to The University of Scranton on Wednesday, January 15, Elizabethtown College on January 18, Susquehanna University on January 25 and Goucher on January 29. The only home contest in the stretch is when Wilkes University comes to Johnston Hall on Wednesday, January 22.

Conversely, Moravian will have five of its seven games in the month of February at home including four straight with Catholic on Saturday, February 1, Drew on Wednesday, February 5, Elizabethtown on Saturday, February 8 and Scranton on Wednesday, February 12. The Blue & Grey will make trips to Lycoming on Saturday, February 15 and Wilkes on Wednesday, February 19 before finishing the regular season on Saturday, February 22 when Moravian hosts Juniata for the annual Play4Kay game and Senior Day.

The Greyhounds aim to qualify for the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament which starts on Tuesday, February 25 with the first round games with the third and fourth seeds hosting the fifth and sixth seeds. The top two seeds will host semifinal contests on Thursday, February 27, and the championship game is slated for Saturday, March 1 at the highest remaining seeds' home court.
