Why did you choose Moravian College?

I chose Moravian because I knew it would give me the chance to get a good education and be a part of a great basketball program.

What is your major and why?

My major is Political Science. I also have minors in Spanish and Sociology. Going to Moravian has given me the chance to study a lot of different areas that interest me.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?

My favorite class was Constitutional law. It was a challenging class but I had a great professor and learned a lot valuable information.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?

I'm hoping to work in College Athletics. I want to stay involved in sports even once my playing days are over.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?

My most memorable moment as a Greyhound was beating UNE in the NCAA tournament my junior year. The atmosphere in that gym, and in our locker room after the win, was something I will never forget.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?

Being an athlete has helped me be a more motivated and focused student.

What is the hardest part of your sport?

For me the mental aspect of basketball is the most challenging. There's so much thinking involved, you always have to be focused in the moment and not distracted by mistakes.

Why do you wear your jersey number?

I wear 30 because it's my favorite player's number and I know the #30 jersey has served shooters well at Moravian the past few years.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.

Moravian is my third college, it was difficult for me to find the right school. My sophomore year I wasn't playing college basketball and it was a really hard time for me, I wasn't sure I'd get back on the court. I'm grateful coach gave me a chance to play again and that Moravian has been such a good fit for me.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?

Community service is a huge part of being a student-athlete at Moravia, especially because the Community gives us so much support. Service has helped me realize how lucky I am to have the opportunities that I have, and the importance of giving back to those who may not be as lucky.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?

My advice would to work hard and give their all in whatever sport they play in college. We only get four years to play and it goes fast.
