Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose moravian college because It reminded me of home. I loved the small atmosphere and how the college is involved with the community and vice versa.

What is your major and why?
Nutrition, I've always wanted to know more about what we put into our bodies and how food effects our health.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
My favorite course at moravian was my freshmen year seminar class based on ethics. I liked how everyone's opinions were involved and people said how they felt about a topic.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
I plan to go on to get my masters as a registered dietician.

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable moment as a greyhound was beating muhlenberg on their court before we left for winter break during my freshmen year season (2012-2013).

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
It has helped me learn to manage my time and stay on top of my work, my sport and my social life.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
Staying focused, energized and enthusiastic about the game throughout the entire season. Basketball is a long season and keeping our heads in all games and practices is hard, but we always find a way to do so.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
Since high school 3 has been my number, and it usually is a size small uniform.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.
I tore my acl my junior year of high school. One of the hardest challenges I have ever had to deal with. It was a physical challenge, but also a mental one. It was difficult to stay optimistic, but I went to physical therapy and rehabbed like I knew I had to and was back on the court in a little less than 6 months.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
Community service and volunteer work is important to my role as a student-athlete because we give back to the community that gives us so much and shows support for our team. It's beneficial for the team as a whole to do a good deed and it's also a great feeling to touch the lives of other people.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
I would tell them to take their time making their college decision, make sure that Moravian is a good academic fit before anything else because the sports isn't all that they are here for, even though it is a large (and one of the best) parts of the life of a Moravian college student athlete.
