Picciuto Selected to 2017 Landmark All-Conference Second Team

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore midfielder/attack Jillian Picciuto has been named to the 2017 Landmark All-Conference Second Team.

Picciuto helped the Greyhounds to a 7-8 record this spring as the program played its first Landmark Conference season since 2010.

Picciuto led Moravian with 63 goals and 34 assists for 97 points as she became the school's all-time leading scorer with 199 points in just two seasons. Picciuto also had the school record for assists in a career with 72, and scored a school record 12 points in two different matches this year including the season finale at Goucher College, which was the program's first-ever Landmark Conference victory. This spring, she also contributed 66 draw controls, 29 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Heading into her junior season in 2018, Picciuto is with striking distance of the school records for goals and draw controls in a career.

"I'm happy to see Jillian receive conference recognition this season," stated Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She currently has 97 points on the season, an extraordinary accomplishment for any attacker let alone a sophomore. She's a clear standout leader on the field against every opponent and had the ability to find the back of the cage or the feed no matter the defense she was facing. I'm excited to see what Jillian can accomplish for the future."
