Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach Erin Allen to Play in World Cup Lacrosse Fesitval in London

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College women's lacrosse assistant coach Erin Allen is set to travel to London, England to play on one of three United States teams participating in the World Cup Lacrosse Festival from Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21. Allen and the D3 Elite South team will compete against teams from Germany, Japan, and England along with the other two United States teams.

Allen, a native of Syosset, New York and a 2016 graduate of The University of Scranton, was a four-year letterwinner on the Royals women's lacrosse and soccer teams. She will be in her second season on the Moravian sideline in 2018 after helping Moravian its first-ever postseason berth this past spring as the Greyhounds playing in the ECAC Division III Championship Tournament and finished the year at 7-9.

As a lacrosse player at Scranton, Allen was a four-year starter who played in 65 matches in her career. She tallied 123 career points on 85 goals and 38 assists. She also added 131 ground balls and 81 caused turnovers. During her junior and senior seasons, she served as team captain. In her sophomore and junior seasons, Allen was named to the Landmark All-Conference Second Team. In her senior season, she was selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team and the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region Second Team.
