SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's lacrosse team extended its program-best winning streak to six matches with a 21-7 victory at Susquehanna University Friday afternoon in Landmark Conference action.

The Greyhounds, now 7-1 overall and 2-0 in Landmark Conference play, had goals from five different players led by sophomore midfielder Liz Bill, who netted a career-high eight goals to go with four assists to tie the school record with 12 points in the match. Bill also had three ground balls and three caused turnovers. Freshman midfielder Meaghan McMullan added five goals, 11 draw controls and three caused turnovers while sophomore midfielder Allie Fisher scored four goals with four draw controls and three ground balls.

Junior midfielder Jillian Picciuto contributed three goals, five assists and seven draw controls while freshman attack Danielle Sullivan had a goal and two assists. Freshman attack Breanna Federico also had a pair of assists.

Moravian junior goalie Kelley Gavin had two saves in 41 minutes of action while freshman goalie Courtney Heist added on save in 19 minutes. Junior defender Melissa Webber recorded six ground balls and four caused turnovers while senior midfielder Alexis Kersten had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

The Hounds opened the scoring just over three minutes into the contest when Picciuto found the net for her first goal of the afternoon. The River Hawks would tie the scored just over three minutes later before Picciuto gave Moravian the lead for good with 24:39 still to play in the first half. The Blue and Grey pushed the lead to 9-1 on Bill's third goal of the afternoon with 13:22 before the intermission, and the Greyhounds headed into the break with a 15-3 advantage.

Moravian scored the first two goals of the second half and netted six total goals over the final 30 minutes of play.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Tuesday, April 3 in a non-conference contest at SUNY Old Westbury beginning at 4:00 p.m.
