Liz Bill '20 honored as Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week.

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College sophomore midfielder Liz Bill has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Bill helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record last week as Moravian extended its winning streak to a program-best six games. She scored 19 points with 12 goals and seven assists to go along with five ground balls, five caused turnovers and two draw controls. Bill was 3-for-5 on 8-meter shots, and she put 15 of her 16 shot attempts on goal. Bill had four goals and three assists to go with two ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 20-7 win at DeSales University. She then tied the school with 12 points on eight goals and four assists in a 21-7 win at Susquehanna University as Moravian improved to 2-0 in Landmark Conference action. Bill also had three ground balls and three caused turnovers in the match.

"I'm incredibly proud of the performance Liz had in both of our matchup's last week, especially during our conference game," noted Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She was truly dominant on the offensive end but also on the re-defend causing turnovers and winning the ball back for our offense. Liz has tremendous potential and I'm excited to see what the future brings her way.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Tuesday, April 3 in a non-conference contest at SUNY Old Westbury beginning at 4:00 p.m.
