TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior attack Jillian Picciuto has been selected as the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Picciuto led Moravian with 11 points on eight goals and three assists in a 21-5 win over Goucher College to close out the 2018 regular season. It was the sixth time in her career that Picciuto had scored 11 or more points in a match and the second time she's netted at least eight goals in a contest. Picciuto added two ground balls, one caused turnover and a career-high 11 draw controls.

"I'm so happy to see Jillian receiving conference recognition after her performance on Saturday," commented Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "She hit her stride finding the back of the net often and setting up her teammates at every opportunity. She's a true team player and I'm proud to see the competitor she's become."

Moravian, which is 11-4 overall and went 5-2 in the Landmark Conference regular season, is seeded third in the 2018 Landmark Conference Tournament and will travel to second seed The University of Scranton for a Landmark Conference Semifinal match on Wednesday, May 2 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
