Moravian Set to Travel to The University of Scranton for 2021 Landmark Conference Semifinal on April 28

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The third seeded Moravian College women's lacrosse team, fresh of the first postseason victory in program history, is set to travel to second seed The University of Scranton for a Landmark Conference Semifinal match on Wednesday, April 28 at 4:00 p.m.

Sixth-year Head Coach Kristen Nicholson has guided the Greyhounds to a 46-36 record, and she has the Blue and Grey in the postseason for the fourth time overall and the third time in the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Greyhounds defeated sixth seed Elizabethtown College, 15-12, last Saturday evening for the program's first postseason win. Moravian has faced Scranton in the Landmark Conference Semifinals in each of the last two tournaments, falling 20-12 in 2019 and 17-10 in 2018.

Senior midfielder Meaghan McMullan tops the Greyhounds in scoring with 45 goals and 14 assists to go with 20 ground balls, 40 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers. Junior midfielder Lindsey Strohl, this week's Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week, has contributed 30 goals and a pair of assists to go with 62 draw controls and nine ground balls while sophomore attack Devin King has 10 goals, eight assists, nine ground balls and four draw controls this spring. Sophomore attack Megan Donnelly has recorded 11 goals and two assists to go along with 16 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and five draw controls while junior attack Eliza Fantazzi has added 10 goals, three assists, 12 ground balls and four caused turnovers.

Sophomore midfielder Emily Hoskin has netted 10 goals with three assists, 14 ground balls, four caused turnovers and four draw controls while senior attack Danielle Sullivan has contributed eight goals, 10 assists and six ground balls. Freshman attack Lexi Robinson has scored six goals to go with six ground balls while senior defender Olivia Clearie has five goals, an assist, 34 draw controls, 10 ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Senior attack Breanna Federico has three goals, three assists and four ground balls on the season, and sophomore attack Kendall Lomascola has scored one goal for Moravian.

Junior defender Samantha Cherenson has 24 draw controls to go along with 18 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers while junior defender Meghan Moore, this week's Landmark Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week, has scooped up 15 ground balls to go with seven caused turnovers. Freshman defender Keara Reilly has contributed 12 ground balls and six caused turnovers while senior defender Maecy Chlebowski has added five ground balls and four caused turnovers. Junior defender Eirean Perst has four ground balls and six caused turnovers while freshman defender Alise Downey has scooped up three ground balls.

Sophomore goalie Brelyn Friedman has 67 saves, 16 ground balls, two caused turnovers and a 6-4 mark in 455 minutes of action while sophomore goalie Rylee Soltis has 22 saves and four ground balls in 104 minutes and senior goalie Courtney Heist has five saves in 41 minutes of action.

The winner of Wednesday's semifinal match will advance to the championship round of the tournament, which will be played on Saturday, May 1 at the highest remaining seed. Wednesday's other semifinal features top seed The Catholic University of America hosting fifth seed Susquehanna University at 4:00 p.m.
