Why did you choose Moravian College?
I chose Moravian because I wanted an academically good school and it was close to home (which is what I wanted). Plus I loved the architecture of the school and the opportunities it had to offer.

What is your major and why?
My major is economics with a track in finance. I enjoy numbers and business, as well as the idea of managing money. Also, stocks and investments really intrigue me.

What has been your favorite course at Moravian and why?
It’s hard to pick one favorite course at Moravian. So far, it is between calculus and financial accounting. Calculus was very well taught and challenged me, which I loved. Meanwhile, financial accounting introduced me to my major and it was most definitely challenging, but I enjoyed learning about it.

What are your plans for the future once you finish your degree at Moravian?
Once I finish at Moravian, I definitely want to get right into the workforce. I’m unsure where I want to work, maybe corporate banking. I also want to travel when I can and get a real estate license

What is your most memorable moment as a Greyhound?
My most memorable moment as a Greyhound is probably the first time I scored last season. I went through a period of time where I was in a funk and had confidence issues on the field, but after I scored, it really helped me build on as the season continued.

How has being an athlete helped you as a student and in the classroom?
Being an athlete has helped me a lot as a student. It keeps me on a schedule between practice, and homework or studying. It really motivates me to be focused on what I need to get done. I see it as a privilege to be here and on the team so it really gives me a rewarding feeling.

What is the hardest part of your sport?
The hardest part was being a new program and being so young, we had no one to really lead the way for us. We have to be our own leaders.

Why do you wear your jersey number?
I wear #1 because I like to be first for everything.

Name one obstacle or form of adversity you have had to overcome.
My biggest struggle was probably getting out of my head when I did something wrong on the field and having confidence issues.

Why is community service important to your role as a student-athlete at Moravian?
As a student-athlete I think it’s so important to give back to the community because it is a privilege and we need to return the support we receive. Also, it is something that I see is in our good will to do, it should just be a natural instinct to want to make someone’s day better.

What advice do you have for a prospective Moravian College student-athlete?
If I could give advice for a prospective student-athlete it would be to not lose sight of what you’re really working for. Academics are so important and so is your sport, don’t get distracted by the things that surround you while you’re here. Hard work really pays off.
