Before joining the Greyhound staff, Ornstein played four years for the DeSales Univeristy Bulldogs as a goalie. As a freshman, the Bulldogs appeared in their first ever conference championship where he had a career high saves total of 19 against Union College. 

 

Tyler also coaches for T3 Lacrosse as a goalie coach for the Shore region. He had the opportunity to work along side and train some of the top Division I goalies in the nation. 

 

Ornstein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from DeSales University in 2017. Ornstein was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll as a senior and will be perusing a Masters Degree specified in healthcare management at Moravian College.
