Catholic Proves To Be Too Much For Moravian

The Moravian College women's soccer team fell to the Catholic University of America Saturday afternoon, 2-0. The Greyhounds sophomore goalie Genevieve Chaleff made nine saves in game.

The Cardinals got on the board early in the first-half when Courtney Orgill netted her fourth goal of the season off a pass from sophomore Noelle Arcomano. Catholic would take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

The Greyhounds would keep Catholic at bay until the 72nd minute when sophomore Kate Masson scored to put the Cardinals up 2-0, assisting on the play was freshman Kaylre Greaves.
Catholic had a 19-12 advantage in shots and a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

Moravian returns to action when they travel to Eastern University for a non-conference game. The match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

The Greyhounds return home next Saturday, October 1 when conference foe Drew University visits. The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
