Women's Soccer Falls to Eastern on the Road

Junior forward Kelsey Doutrich had a goal and two assists to lead the Eastern University women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over visiting Moravian College Wednesday afternoon.

Junior midfielder Ashley Graybill opened the scoring for the Eagles in the 30th minute off of a pass from Doutrich, and Doutrich would make the score 2-0 in the 39th minute with a goal off of an assist by junior midfielder Amy Thomas. Eastern would add a goal in the 66th minute when senior midfielder Charlotte Laurie scored off of a Doutrich pass.

Greyhounds sophomore goalie Genevieve Chaleff had nine saves in the contest to lead Moravian.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 1 when the squad hosts Drew University in a Landmark Conference match starting at 3:30 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
